Little things that matter: Hairnets and Shower caps

Have you ever made a nice hairstyle that got you so excited and you couldn’t wait to flaunt and show off to your friends and goons? You looked really elegant and beautiful during the day, took a loads of pictures and even tagged your friends which was really sharking you.
But night cometh where no man could work and you decided to retire to bed. You took your shower cap, took a cool shower and went in to the room. You hanged the shower cap somewhere and went for your hair net… then dozed off *Phew!!! Such a long day* You woke the following day, took your shower cap were you hung it last night and straight o the bathroom. You repeat this routine over and over even when you’re wearing your natural hair
There’s nothing bad in the above routine if only we know how to maintain our hairnets and shower caps. Lemme shock you: your hair tools (though they are non- living things) have a life of their won. Whatever you wear on your head should be adequately catered for like a glass. This is because hair no doubt is where the crown lies. So, what happens to a crown with dirty head? It will obviously lose color ni...lol
So, let’s look at how we care neatly care for our hairnets and caps. Hairnets and shower cap may be little yet they have loads of functions that cannot be underrated
HAIR NETS
Have you ever wondered why your hairnet gets so dirty and bring out erosion-water color when washing? Do you know that 60% of the moisturizing things you applied in our hair during the day wets eaten by your hairnet at night? This dirt makes the hairnet stink; hence you should make sure you wash your hairnet weekly or at most, once in two weeks. It is wrong for you to wash the hairnet only when you have soapy water you don’t want to dispose during laundry. My dear, you need to wash and dry it when there is little/excess soapy water.
SHOWER CAPS
The only grace that keeps most of our shower caps fresh and clean is that unlike hairnet, shower cap takes lot of shower with us. However this doesn’t deprive the caps of all the washing and care they deserve. My sister, pity that shower cap too na, it has feeling like you o lol… Bottom line is: wash, dry and clean your shower caps at least once in two weeks. Keep this up and let’s see if that that won’t pray for you
As amusing as it sounds, anything that stays on your hair really has to be adequately taken care of. Your head is your crown, your hair is your glory…Make sure you cater for it with all diligence!
